What sort of pen does the plotter or cutter use?
To keep operating costs to a minimum, any pen or marker can be used providing its diameter is no bigger than 13mm(0.5in).
What cutting blade does the cutter use?
Like the pens, to keep operating costs low, our plotter/cutter uses a standard commercially available 28mm roller cutting blade (pizza cutter). Depending on the material being cut, they can last thousands of metres although some sailmaking materials (Kevlar for example) will blunt a blade quicker.
How long does it take to install a machine?
It normally takes less than a day and can be done by anyone.
Will the cutter cut heavy PVC?
PVC is like butter compared to some of the materials used for sailmaking. All grades of PVC cut with ease.
